On Macs check the Midi settings as well as the Utilities and Preferences. On PC's check Control panel - sounds and audio devices, Adjust the System Volume, check settings under Audio and Voice tabs. Also, in PCs try plugging the headsets in the back of the computer or vice versa. And finally test both the Mac and PC with USB headsets if you are not currently using USB headsets. They work better in general (something to do with the amplifying the signal). Most non-USB headsets don't work on Macs (found that out the hard way :-) Jennifer P.
