Hi Folks! I'm on vacation, but heard the news of Blackboard buying Wimba. We have some language classes using the Wimba Voice Boards integrated with Moodle. I'm thinking that given the recent purchase, (our school upgraded to that terrible WebCT/Blackboard hybrid and then switched to Moodle), we need to start thinking about an alternative to the Wimba voice boards which we really like. Do any of you have suggestions for an application that will have similar functionality to the Wimba Voice Boards? We need an easy to use, web-based, recorder for asynchronous recording. Currently we use both the public and private voice boards for different purposes. We'd love to be able to continue to have recordings that all students in the class can hear as well as private ones that only the teacher can access. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Happy summer everyone! Carol Carol H.
