The warbler fallout of a few years ago apparently hasn’t happened this year
(at least not yet) at Milton Frye nature area in Norwich.  But one can
hope.  Meanwhile the apple trees are bursting and the morning grass washes
one’s boots.

During a quick visit yesterday morning I spotted a number of common species,
the most colorful of which was a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.  I put a few photos
(blue jay, house wren, blossoms) at http://www.jimblockphoto.com/blog/
