Learning Support Services provides instructional technology facilities, services, and consultation for SILC faculty and instructors, as well as course-related instructional services for the School$E2s undergraduate and graduate students. The Assistant Director is the head of SILC$E2s Learning Support Services. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a foreign language or relevant humanities-related discipline; native or near-native fluency in English and at least one other language; a strong understanding of technology and its use in the higher education setting; and experience directing an instructional technology facility in higher education or similar environment. Desired qualifications include experience in the following: teaching foreign language at the university level; managing personnel, budgets, and projects; media production from design through final product; delivery of instructional materials online and via distance learning.
