The keynote speaker is Professor Richard Kern, Director of the Berkeley Language Center and Associate Professor of French at the University of California at Berkeley, whose presentation is entitled "Neither Here Nor There: What Happens to Space, Time, and Culture in CMC Videoconferencing Exchanges." Deadline for abstract submissions has been extended until Thursday, September 24, 2009.
