Hi, Bob,

I can't duplicate your problem. I had been using Firefox 3.0.11 on my
10.4.11 machine, but to test what you are doing, I installed Firefox
3.5.2 (first renaming the old version, so that I could reclaim it
easily, if needed). I copied text from a couple of web pages, text
which included links. I pasted the text into Word 2004, and it came
through without any links or HTML. I had thought that I might need to
use the "Paste Special" command in the Edit menu of Word, in order to
paste plain text. But that was not necessary. So far, I see no
difference in cut and paste behavior between Firefox 3.0.11 and 3.5.2.

Obviously, there is something different between your system and mine.
I've installed all the updates for Word, OS 10.4.11, and now Firefox.
I'm running these on an old G5 PowerMac. Contact me off-list, if you
would like me to test specific web pages, or dig into Preference
settings.

Derek
