>Subject: Arabic OCR software

Hello Everyone,

I have a faculty member interested in scanning Arabic texts and using
an OCR software to save as editable text. I know that ReadIRIS and
Sahkr are probably the top Middle Eastern scanning softwares. Does
anyone have experience with either where you might make a good
recommendation for one?

Thank you,
Jose
