Dear LLTIers,

Brown University's Language Resource Center (soon to be the Educational
Technology Center) seeks an Instructional Application Specialist to
begin as soon as possible. This position provides technical support to
the Educational Technology Center's new collaborative classroom space,
faculty development lab, videoconferencing space, and associated
facilities. This is an opportunity to help shape instructional support
-- starting with the languages and broader humanities -- and contribute
to technological innovation across disciplines at Brown.

The incumbent will

* help explore and evaluate new technologies for
instructional materials development and multimedia production,

* provide technical training, consultation and support to
faculty staff and students using the ETC facilities,

* support key enterprise-wide instructional tools,

* and work with central Computing and Information Services
staff to provide a safe and agile sandbox environment to support
experimentation in technology applied to teaching and learning.

We're looking for someone who has experience in academic computing
support, course management system administration, and multimedia
production. A background in language instruction or postsecondary
education is desirable.

For more information and to apply, please see the position description
and online application at

job details are listed within Staff Jobs by the position's title.

Thanks!
