Hello!

My students seem to abuse headsets, so I need to purchase more and I'd like to
purchase some that might last several years.

Looking through the archives, the Plantronics DSP 500 USB headset was
recommended a few times--this headset has been discontinued but is still
available. Those of you who are using these headsets, would you still recommend
them?

If you have purchased a more recent model, is one preferable over the other? I'd
like for there to be fewer breakable parts, and it seems like the 625/650 models
have telescoping microphones which may break easily when used by multiple
students.

We have used some Logitech headsets ($25 from Amazon, I can't remember the model
#) and some Califone headsets (supposedly for institutional use but one broke
quickly, some have odd sound quality and the students inadvertently hit the
buttons to mute the microphone and such which causes problems.)

Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
