We've had a lot of difficulty managing the interactions of CDigix/CLabs, RealPlayer, and our security settings. However, there's a ton of content made available to students. Though I haven't had any involvement, my guess is that our contract with CDigix covers rights management costs. As far as I know, Yale's own streaming server is limited to Yale-created content. This server is run by Yale's Center for Media Initiatives (http://cmi2.yale.edu/). Any copyrighted works that we use at the CLS are limited to clips and limited by IP to Yale's users.
