>Subject: Video Annotation in youtube

Just wanted to see what people are doing with the new "Add Video
Annotations" feature in youtube (beta). It is off the hook! Makes all
kinds of hard stuff easy. I think this is clicktv technology.

I was quickly able to annotate a video from our Stanford Nonnative Rapper
Contest in three different languages with three different character sets -
cyrillic, japanese, and english.

I did a screenshot of the annotation tool view and put it at

The tool is beta and kind of flaky. It is a bit like free Virage
Very handy. Kind of changes the rules, huh?

Joseph
