Ed, Over the years I had lots of professors trying to scan slides on the cheap. In the end, they were all unhappy with the results. In some cases, I had scanned a few for them using a Nikon Coolscan which they eventually ended up purchasing. Nikon does cost more but has a higher resolution and I would guess is faster per slide. Scan directly into Photoshop and click Auto Levels. You will be amazed what you can do with a "red" slide. Good luck Tom Browne LLTI-Editor wrote: >--- Forwarded Message from "Dente, Edmund N." <[log in to unmask]> --- > > > >>Subject: Slide Digitizing >>Date: Sat, 10 Nov 2007 12:02:22 -0500 >>Thread-Topic: Slide Digitizing >>Thread-Index: Acgju3X9QMH55fwVRtCmiFOIjaRP8A== >>From: "Dente, Edmund N." <[log in to unmask]> >>To: "Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum" >> >> ><[log in to unmask]> > >Hi, >This is a little off-topic, but I wonder if you can help with this question. >Here at home, I have 35 years' worth of slides (thousands) that I need to begin >digitizing.
