It is called TINYURL.COM and is very easy to use - you just cut and paste the long URL into the text box on the site and it converts it to a tiny (reasonable/won't break when sharing) address. It's a great tool! Make sure the whole link is copied and pasted on the url-line. It should read: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/etel/2007/07/03/etel-and-your-second-lan guage.ht ml (note the ".html" at the end of second-language) Does anybody have any experience or contacts with Wimba/Horizon in NYC? ----- Original Message ----- From: LLTI-Editor <[log in to unmask]> Date: Friday, July 13, 2007 3:18 pm Subject: Re: #8588.1 Language Dialer article To: [log in to unmask] > --- Forwarded Message from [log in to unmask] --- > > >From: [log in to unmask] > >To: Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum > > <[log in to unmask]> > >Subject: Re: #8588 Language Dialer article > >Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2007 15:35:54 -0400 > >References: <[log in to unmask]> > >In-Reply-To: <[log in to unmask]> > > I was trying to download the article, and it keeps telling me there > was an > internal server error. > > Quoting LLTI-Editor <[log in to unmask]>: > > > --- Forwarded Message from Matthew Chmiel <[log in to unmask]> --- > > > > >From: Matthew Chmiel <[log in to unmask]> > > >To: [log in to unmask] > > >Date: Wed, 11 Jul 2007 21:32:02 -0400 > > >Subject: Language Dialer article > > >Priority: normal > > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > O'Reilly Media just published an article I wrote about the Language > > Dialer - you > > can read it here: > > > > > *********************************************** LLTI is a service of IALLT, the International Association for Language Learning (http://iallt.org/), and The Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning (http://www.languageconsortium.org/).
