Blackboard and Sakai, for example, have wikis seamlessly integrated with their gradebook and overall LMS environment. In Blackboard, you can also change the Web interface to German (or other foreign languages) with just a couple of mouse clicks. If you choose to use an external stand-alone wiki, make sure that it is very easy to use. In general, most stand-alone wikis were developed by computer programmers for programmers. --- Ed Garay University of Illinois at Chicago At Thursday 6/28/2007 01:10 PM, LLTI-Editor wrote: >--- Forwarded Message from "Scott Windham" <[log in to unmask]> --- > > >Subject: best wikis for teaching? > >Date: Wed, 27 Jun 2007 14:48:58 -0400 > >From: "Scott Windham" <[log in to unmask]> > >To: "Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum" ><[log in to unmask]> > >I'm looking for a good wiki where my students can post their web-essays >in German.
