I was going to present on using Gong/Moodle at IALLT but unfortunately I will be unable to attend. I just posted some installation instructions that worked for me on an Ubuntu 6.10 server to the Moodle for Language Teaching site. I would be happy to send those along to you as well. Getting Gong set up is a chore but it is certainly doable.
