To go back further, you hit it several times until you get to where you want, and even if you overshoot it, it's only by a couple of seconds. I have found that this has been very useful and workable. Granted, it doesn't cover all situtations, but it doesn't require bookmarking files ahead of time, and allows flexibility of on-the-fly control.
