That was foreboding, so I, like you, hope that more robust considerations for foreign languages have been made to 7.x. I am not aware of any down sides in terms of having it hosted remotely. An Italian instructor was thrilled to learn that he could use Blackboard without a hitch in Rome this summer for a class he is teaching there. Students logged in just as they would log in here in Chicago, and it all went smoothly, including use of the Wimba Voice Tools, which required an add-on license that we purchased along with the BB license. Please, everybody, feel free to tell us the good, the bad and the ugly!
