The recordings then can be transfered via USB to a computer or through a card reader. These files can be edited with ease on any audio program, such as Audacity. The sound quality is excellent and our faculty love the user friendly controls, which resemble those on an old fashion tape player. It's not small, but portable enough to tape lectures, presentations, etc. We have also used it as the audio recording device while videotaping performances. --- Bill Koulopoulos Educational Technologist 351B IAB-MC 3880 Columbia University New York, NY 10027 Tel: 212.854.6132 [log in to unmask] *********************************************** LLTI is a service of IALLT, the International Association for Language Learning, and The Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning (http://consortium.dartmouth.edu).
