Very spiffy, and free. http://www.cycling74.com/products/download.html Once installed, Soundflower buries itself in your System Preferences as a potential input/output setting. Set your system audio _output_ to Soundflower. Set the audio _input_ setting for your recording app to Soundflower. That's pretty much it. I should mention that I have tested this using Sound Studio (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/audio/soundstudio.html) as the recording app. It has a nice feature, software playthrough, which allows you to hear what's happening on Skype (or iChat, or whatever) despite having output diverted from Built-in Audio. Audacity didn't work immediately so I ditched that path, though I suspect one could figure it out. I bet QT7 pro would work fine, which I can test easily enough for y'all if you like. best, Zach Chandler Colby College LLTI-Editor wrote: >--- Forwarded Message from Barbara Sawhill <[log in to unmask]> --- > > > >>Date: Mon, 14 Nov 2005 16:40:02 -0500 >>From: Barbara Sawhill <[log in to unmask]> >>Subject: Recording both sides of a Skype call on a Mac >>To: Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum >> >> ><[log in to unmask]> > > >>User-Agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.6 (Macintosh/20050716) >> >> > >Greetings: > >We are having a devil of time trying to find a tool that will record >*both* sides of a Skype conversation on a Mac running 10.3 and soon >10.4.
