Position Description: The Yale University Center for Language Study is seeking a Language Technology Specialist to support the development and use of a suite of web-based templates for creating multimedia instructional materials. Working closely with faculty who are developing instructional materials and with the programmers developing the templates, the Language Technology Specialist will have an opportunity to participate in both pedagogical and technological design of the projects. Included in the responsibilities of the position are: participating in management of materials development projects; planning and implementing a support strategy; leading training initiatives and providing user support through demos, presentations, workshops, and one-on-one support sessions; testing and documenting our new software.
