This is not true. SECAM videos play just fine.
Are you having trouble with your machine, or is this just what someone has told

First I want to thank you all for the great info on my need to replace
my old Panasonic AG-W1-P. I found a great deal on the Samsung
SV-5000W, (B&H Photo for 299.95,) but I am concerned that it doesn't
look like it will play Secam videos from France. Is this true? How
have you dealt with this?
Thanks again,
Claire
