>Subject: Software configuration for Language Lab (PC)

Hello,

Many Language Laboratory professionals are probably using the summer
time to install new software on their lab computers or creating a new
system image for deployment. I was wondering how helpful it would be
to have a list of all those tools (language apps, text editors,
shareware, freeware, plug-ins, etc.) that could be considered
*unique*, required, or simply good to have on a Language Lab computer
(PC). If such a list already exists, I'd appreciate a link to it. If
not, I'll be glad to compile it and make it available online.

Maybe this resource could also be added to the IALLT site
(http://www.iallt.org/iallt_services/).

Best,
