Most are set to region 1 and 2 already, but I want at least one machine for each region. I can't seem to get my hands on any DVDs from regions 4-6. These are PCs running Windows XP, and I have not found a way to lock them to a specific region without a disc from that region in the drive. Region-free discs won't work, nor do DVDs that I burned myself using DVD Studio Pro (and set to a specific region). I found some DVDs at our campus library which said on the box "Region 5", for example, but would in fact play on any region. So you can't always trust the packaging. First off, if anyone knows a trick that I don't know on how to do this, please let me know. Secondly, if anyone has a DVD from any of those regions which will not play on standard American DVD players and that I could borrow, please contact me. I will pay the postage costs for you. Thanks! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Laura Atkinson Technical Coordinator for Foreign Language Computing Duke University [log in to unmask] ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
