>Subject: SONY LLC5510 System

Hello,
We have two SONY LLC5510 MKII systems that we no longer use. Except for
the cabling, which is still under the floor, the units have been removed
from their lab rooms and are (mostly) in boxes. Between the two systems
we have enough parts to make one functioning unit with 24 stations and a
dozen extra ER5030 and 5060 tape players. We also have considerable
documentation for the systems and the tables/desks into which the units
can be placed.
Is such a system of use to anyone? Have others among us found homes for
their systems? I'm loathe to throw tjhem away but am getting pressure
to find a suitable home for the pieces ASAP, as they're taking up
valuable storage space. If the systems are of use to anyone, I need to
know very soon. Although I don't know for sure how the finances would
play out exactly, I don't foresee charging for the equipment, expecting
instead that the new owner would arrange for payment of shipping costs.
I can't pursue these details, however, unless I know that there is
interest out there somewhere.
Any suggestions? Takers?
Thanks,
Carine
