They are offered Monday through Friday for approximately two hours per day and carry one unit of graduate credit each. A three-week session at Middlebury enables German teachers to advance their graduate studies without making a six-week commitment to the German Schools regular session. While the stay may be shorter in duration, participants who register only for one 3-week course still gain full advantage of Middleburys environment of linguistic and cultural immersion and the German Schools wealth of cultural activities. In the summer of 2004 the German School will offer two, three-week workshops.
