It is switchable for both Line and Mic level input, so you can also use it for audio capture with tape decks, etc. http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/imic/ We also tried the Telex USB adapter, but had problems in OS9 and OSX-10.1 with the drivers getting lost when the machine slept and we'd have to reboot to get audio out again. Good luck, Gus Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum <[log in to unmask]> writes: >--- Forwarded Message from Jack Burston <[log in to unmask]> --- > >>Date: Sat, 28 Feb 2004 13:34:37 -0500 >>From: Jack Burston <[log in to unmask]> >>Subject: Mac USB mic/headphones >>In-reply-to: <[log in to unmask]> >>To: Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum ><[log in to unmask]> >>User-Agent: Microsoft-Entourage/10.1.4.030702.0 > >Dear Colleagues, > >Can anyone recommend a good OSX compatible USB microphone/headset?
