------------------
I am currently using Server 2003 on a Dell Power Edge 4600. I am
muddling along. I could sound much more convincing once i am past
this learning curve. I discovered that one could use Media services
and create a publishing point. The server creates a play list. It
automatically writes the code needed to use the Media player. I could
use any MP3 file, not even a streaming file ( although i have copied
several streaming mp3 files for a test). It creates a play list and
though media player I could publish my address to my user group and
they have access to the server's streaming files. We will also create
a link on our home page and students that might not use the media
player could access these files.....

I am keeping all of the posts on streaming i find these quite helpful
and I am happy to get such a great response....
