A superior solution is a Polycom ViaVideo desktop unit. It provides superior video and audio and steady connectivity. Because it is H323 compatible it will connect with nearly all videoconference equipment anywhere n the World. Last week we provided a unit to a Japanese music composer in Japan and he was able to participate at a music/dance conference in Baltimore. The video and audio were good and we did not experience any drops during the conference. The cost of the ViaVideo unit is less than $400. It has the capability of connecting to NetMeeting but I have not tried it. I will set my unit to allow NetMeeting and you may call me at this IP 130.85.82.28.
