>Subject: audio speed problem

------------------
I'm wondering if any of you savvy techies out there might be able to help
me troubleshoot a problem. I have two identical (well, almost identical)
computers with QuickTime, RealPlayer and Windows MediaPlayer
installed. One computer plays back audio with these players at a normal
speed, while the problem child speeds up the audio. I've tried
un-installing and re-installing the players, but the speed remains too
fast. I've also verified that music CDs and DVDs play sound at normal
speed. So I think that means it isn't the sound card?

Many thanks for any ideas you might have.

Louise
