I tried some Radio Shack ones, for less money, and there was an irritating hum or buzz present. (I know that Radio Shack's wireless audio equipment is inferior.) But I'm now wondering if we have too many video and computer sources, as well as fluorescent lights which would affect any kind of system. When the college replaced all fluorescent lights with energy saving ones, the ballasts in the replacements actually operated our satellite receivers. I spent countless hours working with the lighting people and the satellite vendors to try to resolve the problem, so I know that it can affect things. I do not know how it was resolved; I believe they changed ballasts, but am not sure. If anyone has experience with Sondheim or other brands of wireless headphone sets in an environment such as mine, please let me know how they work. How's your summer going? Are you working much? Was it you who told me or (do you know anything) about a way to have students watch video materials with wireless headphones? I have seen some at Radio Shack and our fitness center has purchased a different kind. The latter are "out" because each student has to have an FM radio. Radio Shack's cost about $119 per pair, and require several batteries, which may be rechargeable. Do you have information about anything different? Enjoy the sunshine! See you later........Leslie ------=_NextPart_000_001C_01C116A3.CB0ECE30 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.3103.1000" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hi Leslie,</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>sorry for my late response but I just = returned from=20 Germany and now have a hard time to integrate into the work=20 envirement.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>About a year ago I purchased a = wireless headphone=20 system from Sennheiser including</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>a RS4/9 transmitter and = headphone ($ 130 ), 4=20 HDR4/9 additional headsets ( $ 80 each), a L151-10/NT charger strip ($ = 275) and=20 4 additional BA151 rechargable batteries ($ 18 each)</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>it's not used as I thought but I love = it anyway and=20 it works fine.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Sennheiser Electronics = Corp.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>1 Enterprise Drive</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Old Lyme, CT 06371</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>860-434-9190</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>hope your summer is going = well.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Marianne</FONT></DIV> <DIV>*******************************************************************= *</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Marianne C.
