Dear Colleagues,
Joseph Kautz asked about products other than Wimba. At the University of Alberta we did quite a bit of research and couldn't find another product that offered as much and was compatible with our other highly used CMC systems (Webboard and WebCT). So, we are piloting Wimba in a few language courses this fall (we hope these will be Japanese, Chinese and Spanish). I will post our successes (and disappointments) later in the fall.
Meanwhile, I would be interested in hearing of other products as well.
Grace
At 17:18 2001-07-26 -0400, you wrote:
>--- Forwarded Message from Joseph Kautz <[log in to unmask]> ---
>
>>Date: Wed, 25 Jul 2001 12:19:57 -0700 (PDT)
>>From: Joseph Kautz <[log in to unmask]>
>>To: <[log in to unmask]>
>>Subject: Voice Over IP Options besides Winmba
>
>
>Dear Colleagues,
> We are looking at implementing voice over IP serveice for our
>instructors and students.
