Dear colleagues,

At the risk of asking a risky question, I should like to get a few informed views on the quality of Berlitz language courses (perhaps compared to other brand names).

We have been offered the opportunity to establish a franchise, but I should like to do some thorough homework before we consider it.

I realize that we are not strictly dealing with language labs, but I think the members of this list are perhaps the best-informed in general.
