We are currently using, in one of our labs, digitized audio
which we play with our Windows Media player.

What our University is pushing for (in the delay between
old equipment to new software) are headsets that have
microphones as well as headpieces. What their idea is that
eventhough students are not able to record their voices and
play it back, they want those students to be talking as
they listen and they want them to hear their voice in their
headsets at the same time (sort of like a telephone works)
or our old analogue equipment which has a student volume as
well as a teacher volume.

Does anyone know, is it possible to buy headsets that work
like this? Are the components for this action within the
computer headset itself or are those found in the software
or even in the soundcard?

Thanks!
Deanne
