So if you're only going to a projector, that shouldn't be a problem. If you're going to a TV/monitor, then it might. >>> [log in to unmask] 09/26/00 02:51PM >>> --- Forwarded Message from Judi Franz <[log in to unmask]> --- >Date: Mon, 25 Sep 2000 14:25:57 -0700 >To: [log in to unmask] >From: Judi Franz <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: multi-standard dvd players Following up on a discussion from this time last year.... After searching the archives and based on several recommendations therein, I purchased 3 Panasonic A300MU units, only to discover when they arrived that they require a PAL monitor in order to play PAL DVDs. Now, please help me understand this a little better before I ship these back..... For those of you that have purchased these units, is this true? I have faculty returning shortly from DVD-buying excursions in Europe, and I need to play these DVDs here on our video projectors and regular TV monitors. Do I have to worry about PAL/NTSC in addition to region codes? Help, and many thanks in advance!
