Chinese + Nisus = crash? >Date: Fri, 21 Jul 2000 09:38:23 -0400 ------------------ Yes. We've had this problem on our new G4s (which won't run anything but 9.0). It is a known bug, and Nisus does have some information on workarounds on its site. Nonetheless, for our (minimal) traditional Chinese word-processing needs, we've gone back to using XLBR, which our Chinese faculty member seems to prefer anyway. Is there a particular reason you couldn't back the system down to 8.6? That might resolve some of the issues. a. Andrew F. Using Mac OS 9.0 (on an iMac, a PowerBook or a blue G3) with Nisus 5.1.3: selecting traditional Chinese results in an immediate Nisus and system crash.
