Hey Everyone!

There is still time to apply for the Dartmouth Alliance for Children of Color (DACC)'s Executive Board. For our artistic friends we are also looking for a Poster-Maker! Help us get the message out to families of color in the Upper Valley through the creation of fun posters like these!

Being an executive board member is a great way to be a leader and mentor, plan fun events, and spend time with kids. Come join the fun!

DACC’s mission is centered around creating a fun space for children of color in the Upper Valley! We are launching lots of new projects to facilitate connections between children and families of color!

If interested, please fill out THIS application by Friday, April 5th, at 11:59 PM ET. We look forward to hearing from you and for you to join our team! (Open to all students regardless of year)

DACC was reactivated in 19W to bridge the gap between kids of color in the Hanover/Upper Valley area and Dartmouth undergraduates. It is a great way to expand your Dartmouth bubble and help kids of color feel more secure in their identities in a predominantly white environment. Also, it is so refreshing and fulfilling to mentor, guide, and have fun with the kids. We host weekly Friday play dates at Shabazz from 4-5 PM ET. As an Executive board member, you can expect the following commitments: 2-3 hours/wk Minimum playdate attendance of 5 per term Weekly playdate preparation tasks E-board social Applications are closed on Wednesday, April 3rd, at 11:59 PM ET. The playdate on Friday, April 5th is mandatory for new executive board members. For more information reach out to Dartmouth.Alliance.for.[log in to unmask]edu
