Hello Bikers,

FO&M will be conducting abandoned bike collections August 7th and later. Dartmouth Bikes has identified abandoned bikes to be collected with yellow flagging in order to alert students before these collections occur, minimizing active bike loss. If your bike has been tagged yellow but you are still using it, you MUST remove the YELLOW tape prior to August 7th to avoid losing it! 

Tagging was done on all dorms (minus Choates) + the River & North Park apartments.  

Please note that the College is LEGALLY ALLOWED to remove your bike from college owned racks at ANY TIME if it is unregistered, WITHOUT notifying you. If it is registered, they CANNOT do this. Here is their policy. Additionally, if your bike is registered under your name and email, you will receive personal notice by email if it has been marked as abandoned for collections.  Registration is free, takes less than 5 minutes, and can be done at SnS or at the Dartmouth Bike Shop!
