The Student and Presidential Committee on Sexual Assault invites Dartmouth students to apply for the 2019 Elizabeth A. Hoffman Grant, a sexual violence research grant.

Research Goal

The research should aim to find concrete, feasible and constructive policy recommendations for students, faculty and/or administrators to reduce sexual violence at Dartmouth.

Research methods may include, but are not restricted to, academic research, naturalistic or structured observations, clinical interviews, ethnographic studies, or experimental designs. This research will provide an avenue for students to make contributions on the prevention of sexual violence through collaboration with students, faculty and administrators.



Eligibility and Selection

Current undergraduate students or groups of students are eligible to apply. The grant may be approved for on-campus research. Student may apply for one or two terms of research funding.



Expenses and Compensation

Stipend: Students who pursue a research project that does not carry academic credit will receive a $750 stipend per term.

 Research-related expenses: Funding for research-related expenses will be considered upon submission of a detailed budget, to be included with the application. Students are required to specify other sources of funding.
