The Dartmouth Outing Club and the Outdoor Programs Office are excited to announce that Maddy Waters has been selected as the First Year Trips Director for 2019.  Maddy will plan and guide an effort of hundreds of volunteers to welcome the class of 2023 to Dartmouth.

Maddy served as Vox Crew Captain during First Year Trips 2018, helping to coordinate risk management and logistics for the program as a whole.  That experience, along with her various other leadership roles within the DOC and on campus at large, make her an exceptionally qualified Director.  Maddy's appreciation for the challenges of making Trips accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for as many people as possible will inform her vision of the program.  We are confident that Maddy will do an excellent job.
