The Student Wellness Center and the Counseling Center are offering the Student Support Network (SSN), a program under the Dartmouth Cares initiative aimed at training and supporting students to develop skills around understanding and recognizing warning signs of mental health issues as well as reaching out and supporting peers who may be struggling. We are looking to create a wide network of students who are ready, willing, and able to effectively support and appropriately refer their peers who may be struggling -- and we're excited to work with our second cohort this fall!

The 4-part training series will happen during weeks 4-7 of Fall term. If you are interested in participating, please apply here: https://goo.gl/forms/VkDfrhzVGcIsPQQO2. For a list of FAQs, please see attached. If you still have questions after reviewing the FAQs, please reach out to Caitlin ([log in to unmask]).

As you know, mental health is an incredibly important issue that affects us all - undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and staff - and we are grateful that so many students are committed to being active and engaged in their support of their fellow Dartmouth students. We look forward to working with many of you this fall.

all the best,

Caitlin
