Some students may recall the Physicians for Human Rights symposium the Nathan Smith Society co-sponsored with Geisel students a couple of years ago on refugee rights.  Dr. Amer Al-Nimr, a DHMC pediatrician and Director of our Global Health Child program, was one of the featured speakers at the program that included a poignant presentation by a MD refugee from Syria.   Dr. Al-Nimr has graciously invited all Dartmouth undergrads to attend an important event next week (Wednesday, September 26) concerning the health care of schoolchildren and refugees in  Jordan.  See 2 enclosures for details.
