Collaborative Leadership Pilot 18X

by 11:59 PM TONIGHT

The Collaborative Leadership Pilot is a leadership development program that prepares students with the skills they need to take purposeful action in and with communities they care about.

We believe that leadership is action rather than position, and that it is a collaborative practice rather than a character trait.

Anyone can learn to be a leader and anyone can learn the skills needed for effective teamwork.

Through fun, interactive workshops you’ll learn the skills needed to be an effective leader on Dartmouth’s campus:

* Personal strategic planning

* Group-based problem solving

* Leadership action planning

We’ll meet once a week during 18X on Thursday afternoons:

June 28th,  4:30-7:30 pm

July 5th, 4:30-6:30 pm

July 12th, 4:30-6:30 pm

July 19th 4:30- 6:30 pm

Then, there will be two experiential exercises, where you will put your learning to the test:

*One exercise will be independently scheduled

*One TEAM-BASED CHALLENGE will take place on Sat, July 7th from 8 am – 1 pm

Choose your adventure and work with a team to beat the clock: ropes course, ultimate brainteasers, or orienteering

This program is for all students—whether you already consider yourself a leader or are curious about what leadership means for you both on campus and beyond. Join us this summer to enhance your skills and take your capacity to work together with others to the next level!
