HYDROPONICS
Building a low-cost, energy efficient device that makes nutrient-rich compost tea to fertilize plants! Planning a trip to Ecuador over the summer!!!

MAHJOUBA PROJECT
Designing an electric moped that can be built by Moroccan artisans!
Just came back from a two-week trip to Morocco!!!
Designed this transmission prototype during a month-long trip last summer:

COT PROJECT
Working with local homeless shelter to build a cheap, sturdy, and storable cot!
Tons of brainstorming and hands-on machine shop work!!!

DHE's projects involve plenty of engineering and non-engineering aspects, so anyone can contribute. Projects go from idea to implementation, so each project involves plenty of different skills.
