Dartmouth alumna Echo Brown ('06) will be returning to Hanover to perform her critically-acclaimed, one-woman show “Black Virgins Are Not For Hipsters.”
As the show opens, 23-year-old Echo
is about to lose her virginity to a good-looking white hipster that she met on Craigslist. The hour before the fateful meeting, Echo reflects on the sociopolitical implications of her predicament. She
questions if this white hipster will find her dark skin and African features attractive as well as how their cultural differences will impact this encounter.

Echo's show is a theatrical performance, so please arrive before 8,
no latecomers will be admitted once the show starts.
Echo has given talks at places like Facebook, Google & Dropbox, as well as two TedX talks, and has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Huffington Post and many other publications.
