Judge John M. Mott was appointed by President Clinton to the District of Columbia Superior Court bench in July 2000. He has served on the Civil, Criminal, and the Family Court branches of the Court, presiding over a wide array of civil, felony, misdemeanor, domestic violence, domestic relations, abuse and neglect, adoption, and juvenile delinquency matters, among others.
