Do you believe that people fleeing from violence and persecution deserve to be welcomed into safe communities? Do you want to help spread the message
that the Dartmouth and Upper Valley community stands with immigrants and refugees?
Then come to the Silent
Auction
Fundraiser
co-hosted by the Oxfam Club at Dartmouth and the Upper Valley Coalition for Immigrants and Refugees on
April 19th, 8-10pm.
Of the funds raised, 40% will go
Oxfam America, who works to provide millions of Syrian refugees around the world with food, adequate healthcare, warm clothes, clean water, and sanitation; another 40% will go to the Manchester division of the International Institute of New England,
who support refugee resettlement efforts in the area and provide ESL and citizenship courses for the undocumented population of New Hampshire; and the final 20% will go the
Greek Forum of Refugees which promotes community-building among refugee populations in Athens, Greece and encourages them to collaborate together fight for asylum and to protect their rights.
