Hey guys!
Wanted to let you know of an awesome opportunity to get involved with the community this week.
On Wednesday, April 5th, in partnership with Darmouth's Center for Professional Development, Educational Justice will host an information session at the Center's Workshop Room at 63 So. Main Street (second floor of Bank of America building), from 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. for students interested in joining the EJ team.

EJ's newest initiative, "Educational Justice Activists," which recently won a social entrepreneurship conference at Harvard University, identifies and trains high-achieving high school students to become dedicated academic coaches for underserved 5th-8th grade students. After being paired, students meet for one-on-one tutoring sessions every week.

The concept behind EJ Activists is encapsulated in this brief video: EducationalJustice.org/EJA

To accommodate our rapid expansion, Educational Justice is hiring social justice-minded college graduates who want to create greater educational equity nationwide.

Through efforts such as student recruitment, community partnerships, grant writing, software enhancement, and program administration, EJ staff members level the educational playing field for low-income students everywhere.

Pizza will be provided for interested students! --
