Are you considering writing a thesis?

Have you ever been asked to present a CS project in one of your classes?

Don't know how to explain your work in an interview or a cover letter?

Come to Professor Cormen's seminar series on technical presentations!

Prof. Thomas Cormen will be covering both written and spoken presentations over the course of three sessions:

2/15: Where to Begin? The Basics of a Technical Paper

2/22: What You Didn't Learn in Writing 5: Technical Writing Style

3/1: Let's Talk about Talks

These sessions are geared especially towards seniors writing a thesis, those doing independent research, and anyone looking to improve the way they write and speak about their technical work.

The first session is TODAY: Wednesday, February 15th at 5:30pm in Kemeny 006 focusing on the things you need to know to begin to write a technical paper, including organization, how to present and explain concepts, and figures.

This is the first time he has offered these sessions in years! Don't miss your chance to learn technical writing and speaking from one of the experts!

Sponsored by WICS, open to all classes/genders/majors
