Today (2/15) at 6 pm in The General Motors Classroom in Byrne Hall of the Tuck Business School, the International Business Council will be hosting a group of five 2nd year Tuck students for a panel discussion and networking opportunity. Free Tuk Tuk & Bolocco dinner will be provided and you are all invited! 

These Tuck students will be joining us for a panel discussion and to speak about post-graduate international work experiences, the decision to go back to business school, and any other questions you may have. 

This will be a great opportunity for everyone to interact with the Tuck community and to build relationships as starting next term, we will also be holding more informal coffee chats and networking sessions.

Eduardo Abby, MD graduated in 2010, with residency in Internal Medicine. Worked for Doctors Without Borders since 2014, having done missions in South Sudan and Cambodia. Started Tuck at 2016, doing his summer internship at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). After Tuck he will combine both activities, working most of the year with BCG, and the rest with Doctors Without Borders.

Laura Shen is a New Hampshire native and attended Georgetown University. Before Tuck, Laura worked at the World Bank in Washington, DC as Special Research Associate to the Region Head of the Middle East & North Africa Region Prior to that, Laura was an analyst at Citibank in New York. Other development experiences include the Clinton Global Initiative and field research on MPESA in Kenya. After Tuck, Laura will be working at L.E.K. Consulting in Boston. 

Lindsay Rotherham is from Bozeman, MT and attended Middlebury College. She worked at Grassroot Soccer, an organization that uses soccer to educate youth about HIV, in Kimberley, South Africa for one year immediately after college and then at the United Nations Foundation in Washington, DC for five years. She is a second-year student at Tuck and plans to transition into the private sector to focus on sustainability issues, particularly in the outdoor and athletic apparel industry. 
 
Prior to starting at Tuck in the fall of 2015, John Gwilliam worked as a Country Director and Global Program Director for a social enterprise in East Africa called Impact Carbon/Impact Water, which provided water purification and cleaning cooking technologies to individuals and schools in East Africa. Prior to this, he spent 9 months in South America as a fellow with Kiva Microfunds, working with two different micro finance institutions. John will be working in management consulting after Tuck, but plans to return to a role in the social sector in the short to medium term.
 
Estephany Ley-Monarrez got a Dual Bachelor’s Collaborative Degree Program: B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from Boston University. She first interned for the Chamber of Commerce in Shangai in 2009 then worked as a financial advisor intern in 2010 where she increased portfolio returns by up to 22% at Merrill Lynch Shanghai. She went on to work as a market analyst then junior relationship manager at Credit Suisse Private Bank in Switzerland and most recently the Director of Infrastructure and Tourism Investment Projects at the Center for Investment and Trade in Mexico.
