Join us at the farm for open hours! Rides leaving from behind Robo at 3:30pm. Students are welcome to come to the farm to read, study, enjoy the scenic landscape and get some R&R. 

GROWING CHANGE, 8:00pm-9:00pm Collis 212
Members of Growing Change design and teach a farm to school curriculum in local elementary schools. Club members volunteer for 1 teaching day a week and help maintain small vegetable gardens at the schools. Come join the meeting to learn more!

SUPERFUND RESEARCH PROGRAM GUEST SPEAKER, JAMES DEARING, PHD, 2:00pm-3:30pm VAIL 202
Professor Dearing’s talk “will describe key lessons from diffusion of innovations theory and suggest how those research results can be used to improve dissemination activity and support effective implementation of Superfund-generated research results and products, especially for stakeholders external to universities.  These lessons have implications for research translation, community engagement, and the study of those processes in related fields of study.

Hugh Beach, Uppsala University, Sweden; Niels Einarsson, Director, Stefansson Arctic Institute, Iceland; Estrid Ogilvie, Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR) University of Colorado at Boulder; Ross Virginia, Environmental Studies, and Director of the Institute of Arctic Studies. Hosted by the Stefansson Arctic Institute, Iceland, and the Institute of Arctic Studies at the Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College. The Stefansson Memorial Lecture is an annual event established by the Stefansson Arctic Institute honoring the legacy of arctic explorer, anthropologist, and former Dartmouth faculty member Vilhjálmur Stefánsson (1879-1962).
